Lowell Weiss, a proud member of the Leap Ambassadors Community, provides guidance to foundations and donors seeking to deepen their impact, with services ranging from designing new initiatives to supporting grantee performance. Previously, he served in a leadership role at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Among his many responsibilities, he was staff director of the team responsible for providing Bill Gates with insights on how to make best use of Warren Buffett’s historic gift. Before that, he served as director of the chairman’s office at the Morino Institute; Special Assistant and Presidential Speechwriter for President Bill Clinton, and editor at The Atlantic Monthly. He graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College.
