Sessions / Events:

Steven Olikara (@StevenOlikara) is Founder of Millennial Action Project (MAP), a
national, nonpartisan organization dedicated to activating millennial policymakers to lead a new
era of collaborative governance. In the wake of the 2013 government shutdown, MAP organized
America’s first and only bipartisan caucus for young members of Congress, the Congressional
Future Caucus, co-chaired by Reps. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Will Hurd (R-TX).

The Future Caucus Coalition has expanded into numerous state legislatures and produced
landmark achievements on the innovation economy, education, and other key issues affecting
millennials. Previously, Steven was a Truman Fellow at the World Bank focusing on sustainable
energy and advised eight-time Grammy winner Usher’s Foundation on global youth initiatives.

A nationally recognized leader, Steven’s work has been featured in the Wall Street
Journal, New York Times, CNN, NPR and other major media outlets. He also serves on the
Boards of The Constitution Project, Issue One and his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin’s
International Division. A Truman and Aspen Ideas Scholar, Steven has been named the
Millennial of the Year and one of the Most Influential Leaders Under 40 by Washington
Life magazine.
