Leasha Johnson is the Executive Director of the Mingo County Redevelopment Authority, a quasi-governmental agency charged with improving and diversifying the economic base in rural Mingo County, West Virginia. With the Authority since 2004, she served in granting writing and deputy executive positions until assuming her Executive Director position in January of 2015. Prior to joining the Authority, Leasha worked as lease manager for Massey Energy, and she also worked as a legislative auditor for the West Virginia Legislature. She currently serves as a member of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails Authority and Corridor G Regional Development Authority boards of directors, and as Vice Chair of Williamson Health & Wellness Center board of directors. She is a member of the WV Economic Development Council, as well as US Congressman Evan Jenkins’ Small Business Advisory Committee.
