Julie Simpson, Director of Nonprofit Strategy and Capacity Building at TCC Group, is a highly respected leader with more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. With field-tested expertise in such areas as arts and culture, community and economic development, education, gender rights, community partnership-building, and advocacy, Simpson has helped numerous organizations develop and implement strategic plans, design new business models, and evaluate programs. Simpson has worked with nonprofit boards and Executive Directors on issues including mission, governance, change management, and strategy. Some of her recent clients have included the Anne Ray Charitable Trust, the Center for Jewish History, the Legacy Heritage Fund’s Project Accelerate, Wiregrass Foundation, Youthbuild Philadelphia Charter School, the Federation of Protestant Welfare Agencies (FPWA), Girls Inc., Interfaith Youth Core (IFYC), the Corporation for Enterprise Development (CFED), Wikimedia Foundation, and Open Society Foundations. Simpson received her Master’s in Educational Policy and Curriculum Development from New York University after receiving a Bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College. She also holds Executive Business Education Certification from Harvard, Stanford, and Northwestern Universities.
