Deepti Sood is a Senior Consultant at TCC Group where she focuses on evaluation. Since joining TCC in 2011, she has led a wide variety of projects, including retrospective evaluations of multi-year grant portfolios, formative evaluations of capacity-building initiatives, embedded evaluations of state-based advocacy campaigns, and evaluation planning assignments, among others. She is also a co-creator of the Foundation Core Capacity Assessment Tool (FCCAT), a statistically-validated survey tool designed to measure foundation capacity.
Sood is deeply involved in the evaluation, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors outside of TCC Group. She served on the founding board of NYCE (New York Consortium of Evaluators, a regional American Evaluation Association affiliate) and is currently on the steering committee for the New York chapter of EPIP (Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy), a membership organization focused on raising up social justice within the philanthropic sector. She is also an avid participant in the American Evaluation Association’s annual conference, where she has presented for the last four years.
Sood has a MA in Psychology and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Wesleyan University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
