Deb Love, Executive Director, joined the LOR Foundation in January 2016. She previously served as senior vice president and west division director at The Trust for Public Land. With more than 20 years of experience in community conservation, Deb brings a deep commitment to improving livability and the quality of life for residents in the Intermountain West.
Prior to serving as senior vice president at The Trust for Public Land, Deb worked as Northern Rockies director, where she helped lead several large-scale collaborative efforts, including the 310,000-acre Montana Legacy Project, the design and development of the Story Mill Community Park in Bozeman, and the 58,000-acre oil and gas lease buy-out in the Hoback Basin. In her role as New Mexico state director, Deb led the protection of some of the most iconic places in northern New Mexico, including Ute Mountain and the Taos Valley Overlook, as well as the design and construction of the award-winning Santa Fe Railyard Park and Plaza.
Deb holds a Master of Science in natural resources management from Antioch New England Graduate School and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of California at Berkeley. She and her husband Eric love spending time outdoors with their two children and trusty yellow lab Avalanche.
