Why does race and ethnicity matter so profoundly for health in the U.S. and elsewhere? Internationally recognized Harvard professor David R. Williams will discuss health trends by race and immigrant status and stunning new research on the added burden of race. He presents why moving a health equity agenda forward is central to the personal and national interests of all Americans and offers practical steps to reduce racism and improve health equity for African Americans and other vulnerable populations.
